Made of brass with a heavy (7-10 mil) 24k gold plate and surgical steel posts and adorned with Czech crystals. Designed and assembled in our Sonoma California studio and 100% made in the USA.

About the eye in cultures around the world: Attempts to ward off the curse of the evil eye have resulted in a number of talismans in many cultures. As a class, they are called "apotropaic"(Greek for "prophylactic" / or "protective", literally: "turns away") talismans, meaning that they turn away or turn back harm.
